Crafting Your Personal AI Workspace

A T I M B E R & I N K W O R K S H O P

You've probably used AI before. Maybe you've asked it a question, gotten an answer, and moved on. Maybe you've played with it out of curiosity and thought, "That's kind of cool, but I don't really know what to do with it."
You're not alone. And you're not wrong. The way most people use AI is like buying a full woodworking shop and only ever using it to hammer a single nail.
There is a better way to work with these tools — one that most people don't know exists. Not because it's complicated, but because nobody showed them. That's what this workshop is for
What If It Knew You?
Imagine you hired a brilliant assistant — sharp, well-read, endlessly patient — but every morning, they woke up with total amnesia. They don't know your name. They don't know what you're working on. They don't remember what you told them yesterday. Every conversation starts from absolute zero.
That's what most AI use looks like. You explain yourself, get an answer, close the tab, and start over tomorrow.
Now imagine something different. Imagine that assistant already knows who you are, what you're working on, what matters to you, and how you like to communicate — because you took an afternoon to set that up. Once. And now, every time you sit down to work, you don't start from scratch. You pick up where you left off.
That's what a crafted AI workspace is. And it changes everything.
Start thinking about where this could matter for you:

YOUR WORK

Lesson plans, client proposals, project documentation, team communication, professional development — a workspace that knows your role, your standards, and your current projects.

YOUR CREATIVE SIDE

That book you've been meaning to write. The blog you keep thinking about. Your music, your art, your content — a workspace that knows your voice, your style, and what you're building.

YOUR GROWTH

Deeper Bible study. A reading companion for that stack of books. Language learning. Skill building. A workspace that grows alongside you.

YOUR HOME LIFE

Meal planning, budgeting, family schedules, home projects — a workspace that already knows your family's preferences, your routines, and your goals.

You don't need to be a tech person to do this. You just need someone to show you how it works. That's what we'll do together.
What You'll Walk Away With
This isn't a lecture. This isn't a tech demo. This is a small-group, hands-on workshop where you'll actually build something — or at least leave with a plan so clear you can build it that evening.
  • A new way of thinking about AI — not as a search engine, but as a workspace you can shape around your life and work
  • A clear understanding of the building blocks every major AI platform offers (Claude, ChatGPT, Copilot, Gemini) — and how they fit together
  • A live walkthrough of a real, working AI workspace so you can see what this actually looks like in practice
  • Honest conversation about the limitations, the risks, and the things to watch out for — because wisdom matters more than enthusiasm
  • A personal worksheet and step-by-step plan for your first workspace, tailored to whatever area of your life would benefit most
No experience necessary. Whether you've never used AI or you use it every day, you'll find value here. The concepts are what matter — not the platform.

A Word from Your Host

I'm Joshua. I work in clinical technology at a hospital here in Tulsa, and I serve as a student minister at my church. I am not an AI researcher or a computer scientist. I'm someone who has spent the better part of a year building real AI workspaces for real work — ministry, creative writing, professional projects, personal growth — and I've been genuinely surprised by what's possible when you move past the search bar.
I built this workshop because the people I care about deserve to know what these tools can actually do — and what to watch out for. Not the hype. Not the fear. Just honest, practical, "let me show you" knowledge from someone who uses this regularly.
Come as you are. No tech background required. Just bring your curiosity and something you'd like to work smarter on.
