Portrait Photography Workshop
If you’re newer to portraits—or you’ve been shooting a while but still feel unsure—this workshop was made for you.
On February 1st, 2026 @ 3:30pm, I’ll be hosting a Portrait Photography Workshop that breaks down the essentials in a simple, repeatable way. You’ll walk away with tools you can use immediately: how to find good light, pose people naturally, and direct a session with confidence.
We will meet at The Williams Lodge at the Tulsa Gathering Place @ 3:30pm February 1st, 2026. We’ll talk through some fundamentals to get us started and then walk through a mock photoshoot as we navigate our way through the park and work with a variety of scenes and lighting changes.
Please fill out the form to let me know you’re interested or planning to attend.

About Me…
I’m Joshua Davis and I took my first photography class in 2003 as a freshman in high school, starting with a Canon film camera and learning to develop film and prints in a darkroom. From the beginning, I was captivated by photography—the ability to freeze a moment in time and preserve it in a way memories can’t always hold onto.
Over the years I transitioned into digital photography and became fluent in editing and post-processing. From 2013–2025, I ran a successful portrait photography business and was featured in TulsaPeople magazine. I was also a member of the Indian Nations Photography Association for several years, where I learned from and alongside other local photographers.
Today, I love teaching and sharing what I’ve learned—helping photographers build skill, confidence, and consistency in their portrait work.
—Below are a few photographs that I captured over the years.—
